What is the right amount of vulnerability?

Leadership isn’t a poker game, but knowing when to show your hand matters.

Most leaders agree that vulnerability can be a powerful bonding agent that makes you more relatable. But what is the right amount of vulnerability? This question was asked at a recent session in our Accelerated Leader Program. The intentional use of vulnerability is important and I break down some great and not-so-great examples of vulnerability in leadership in the podcast.

So what’s more important? The simple answer is… it depends. A lack of talent can certainly hurt you, but a lack of hard work will sink you. I expand on this more in the podcast companion here.
